Asahi Super Dry is Japan’s most popular beer, and is known the world over. A great tasting beer that accompanies Japanese food to perfection, the name of this beer says it all: Super Dry, a beer with a light, crisp bitter taste and extremely sharp aftertaste.

So, here we are, are any japanese beers gluten free? Gluten free beer is not made using wheat or barley. Hops does not contain gluten. The main brands of gluten free beer now found in supermarkets and health food stores are: Redbridge. This gluten free beer is made from sorghum.

Anheuser-Busch’s Redbridge beer, made with sorghum, remains the most visible gluten-free beer on the U.S. market. It’s generally possible to find Redbridge in large supermarkets across the U.S., and I’ve found that smaller ones can order it for you, as long as they carry other Anheuser-Busch products.

Corona is a gluten-brewed beer that happens to have pretty low gluten content (relative to other barley-brewed beers). Some gluten intolerant individuals with mild sensitivity claim that they can drink it without issue. But anyone seeking a truly gluten free lifestyle–out of necessity or desire–should not drink Corona.
